Joanna
Lawson is a retired educator. She became a poet when she dealt with the grief
of losing her husband in 1987. With the help of her uncle Vincent
Francis, who died in 1989, and the ongoing assistance of the Tower Poetry
Society members, the writing group to which she belongs, she continues to hone
her writing skills. My Canada
is her most recent book of poetry published in 2017. Joanna’s books are available through thebookband.com
